The past 20 years didn't belong to a cappella. But perhaps the future can. AI won't dilute live performance—it will bring more possibilities to arrangement and creation.
HaND. is a choral veteran with 15 years of experience in practice and organization. A primary Bass, HaND. also demonstrates exceptional versatility as a Countertenor and Vocal Percussionist.
HaND.'s choral journey began during high school and university years, serving as a bass section member in two prestigious ensembles: the Beijing No.4 High School Jinfan Choir and the Peking University Chorus. During this period, HaND. participated extensively in international competitions and performance tours, gaining invaluable experience on the global stage.
In 2007, HaND. co-founded the Peking University Wu Xing A Cappella Group (北大五行清唱团), an ensemble that would go on to achieve remarkable success in China's a cappella scene.
The Wu Xing A Cappella Group has now been active for 19 years, becoming one of the longest-running collegiate a cappella groups in China. Today, many of its former members continue to pursue vocal careers in cities around the world, including Shanghai, Berlin, and beyond, carrying forward the spirit of a cappella excellence.
